Touchdesigner – Interactive particles controlled with Kinect (full project) tutorial

————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Due to the CoVid19 emergency in Italy, my work has been negatively affected and at the moment I don’t know when I’ll be back to the normality.
I have always shared my work with passion and for free! However I don’t know if this can now last for longer.
If you find my tutorials useful for your work and you just like what I do, I invite you to consider to send a donation.

In this tutorial we will build up an interactive system using the Kinect, to control musical notes. Whenever the musical notes hit one of the instruments displayed on our screen some music is played.

It is a full project! Did you like this video?
Then Subscribe, I will share more projects in the next weeks!
Feel free to share it, if you think someone can find it useful!

This tutorial will cover different topics such as:
– Rendering geometries
– Modifying geometries
– Instancing
– Building a particle system
– Using the kinect to control particles
– Post-processing TOP operations
– Analyzing TOP
– Transforming TOP interactions in triggers
– Use of some materials
