自宅で過ごすことやリモートワークの推奨によって、ビデオチャットの需要が高まりを見せています。
SnapChatをはじめとした様々なフェイスエフェクトアプリを使用することで、ディスプレイを挟んでいても親しみや個性を表現したコミュニケーションを実現することができます。

4/10に公開されたTouchDesignerのオフィシャルアップデートではNon-Commercial版でNDIやRTMPが使用できるようになり、zoomをはじめ様々なブラウザ上のプラットフォームへのリアルタイムなビデオ配信が可能になりました。

こうした背景を踏まえ、今回のTDSWではTouchDesignerでオリジナルのフェイスエフェクトをつくるワークショップを実施します。

Face Trakingおよび出力までのシステム部分は1-10のテクニカルディレクターである藤岡宏和さんがこちらのコンテンツをもとにして解説、そのシステムを引き継いでフェイスエフェクトのいくつかのサンプル作成をBackspace Productions Incの比嘉了さんに登壇していただきます。

ワークショップの最後にもう１名ゲストを招待して、さらに個性的なフェイスエフェクトを紹介していただきます。

TDSW | Tokyo Developers Study Weekend is an organization that runs workshops/events aiming to share techniques and knowledge about digital creativity and networking among creators and manages a community with creative people.
