TouchDesignerは標準機能だけでも色々な表現が出来ます。
しかし、全てをSOPやTOPで行おうとした場合、TouchDesignerだと実装が難しいからこの表現はやめとこうかと諦めてしまう場面が多々あります。また高度な表現を行う際、GLSLは避けては通れない道ですが、SOPだけで作られた３Dデータでは、GLSL Matと相性の良い変数与えることが難しい場合があります。本コースでは、HoudiniやSubstance DesignerといったTouchDesignerと連携しやすいアセットツールとGLSLを用いて、TouchDesignerの表現力を強化する方法をお話しします。

HoudiniやSubstance Designerの操作に関する詳細な説明は行いません。Houdini Apprentice版は無料なのでインストールしておくと講義を理解しやすいかもしれませんが必須ではありません。本コースでは複数のツールやテクニックを横断的に扱うため、ワークフローやアイデアの紹介を主目的とします。

神田竜

Kezzardrix名義で様々なアーティストのライブビジュアルやVJ、MVを担当。backspacetokyo所属。HIP LAND MUSICのクリエイティブ部門INT所属。SjQ++、 VMO、 HEXPIXELSなど様々なユニットでも活動している。マスコットキャラクターにケザドリがいる。

■ Requirements
・A recent computer with the latest official TouchDesigner installed.
・A 3-button mouse with scroll wheel.
・Please consult the System Requirements to make sure your computer is capable of running TouchDesigner.

TDSW | Tokyo Developers Study Weekend is an organization that runs workshops/events aiming to share techniques and knowledge about digital creativity and networking among creators and manages a community with creative people. We have organized more than 70 events and had more than 4000 attendees in total since April 2018. We deliver exciting after-hours and weekends to creative people focusing on visual programming tools such as TouchDesigner.
