TouchDesigner Tutorial: Sacred Geometry-Style Line Art

This tutorial covers how to create these webby line art scenes by creating impossible camera angles in virtual space. Basically, we can curve our lens beyond 180 degrees (fisheye) to get severe distortions around the edges of the scene (much like you see in a 360-degree image).

I like the way these distortions look on simple line art, so that’s what this demonstrates. It creates sacred geometry-esque patterns. This technique can, in theory, translate to any scene, but my research on it has been confined to this style. I’d be interested to see what other applications you all find for it!
