soundreactive visuals in #touchdesigner and #ableton

Since a lot of people have been asking about this, I’m gonna show the basic process of setting up a controller that lets you manipulate both sound and visuals using a single encoder.

1️⃣ In Ableton: Enable remote control in Preferences, hit the MIDI button, and map your encoder to sound parameters.

2️⃣ In TouchDesigner: Open MIDI Device Manager, select your MIDI device, create a MIDI map, and assign your encoders. Use a MIDI In Map CHOP, Select CHOP, and Math CHOP to access and fine-tune the values.
