welcoming the year of the snake with an interactive art installation at ultrasuperkura, shibuya

snakes move around a glowing moon-like sphere, protecting it as a symbol of time’s renewal and ephemeral life. by spinning the knob, you can change the snakes’ positions and paths — almost like fireworks when you go fast. by pressing the knob, you trigger beautiful transformations: lunar eclipse-like animations and color changes.

created using touchdesigner, python, and arduino.
