Dom Davis (Psychojelly) – Leap Motion – Interactive & Immersive Championship TouchDesigner Project

This project was created as part of The Interactive & Immersive Championship.

From the artist: When given the prompt to make a game out of interactive hardware, participant Dom Davis of Psychojelly chose to use the leap motion, a hand tracking device, to make a “choose your own adventure” video player. In this breakdown, he discusses his approach of building it around a 3D cube that plays a different video depending on what side the 3D cube is on. The user, using the leap motion, can then choose in which order they view the narrative using a wave of their hand to rotate the cube.
