LED mapping is not an easy or intuitive workflow to start from scratch. In TouchDesigner, we have GeoPix, an application designed and created by Lucas Morgan and Enviral Design, that makes complex LED mappings a breeze. Lucas recently released GeoPix as an open source project that everyone can benefit from for free. We caught up with Lucas to get a quick tour of GeoPix and a special behind the scenes look at the GPU pipelines and techniques he built to keep this incredible tool running at high frame rates on any system.
