This project file features a visually striking Trail FX, where human motion is captured in real-time and visualized through glowing trace lines across a darkened environment. The effect is designed to highlight spatial presence and movement in a cinematic, almost ghostlike aesthetic.

Blob Track TOP

Used to detect and isolate movement from a live video or pre-recorded footage. It drives the spatial logic of the trace system by identifying silhouettes or key motion points.

Geometry COMP

Converts tracked blob positions into 3D geometry instances, giving structure to the traced shapes in world space. This also allows for real-time spatial transformation and rendering control.

Trace SOP

The core visual engine for this effect. It generates dynamic curves that follow the movement paths of the tracked subjects. These trails persist and evolve over time, creating a layered sense of memory and motion.
