VOID Shared Memory — TouchDesigner to Live Receiver
VOID RECEIVER is part of the VOID Shared Memory suite and allows arbitrary data sent from TouchDesigner to be received directly inside Ableton Live, enabling real-time control and modulation workflows without MIDI, OSC or network-based protocols.
Incoming data streams can be mapped to four real-time parameters using the Max for Live Live Object Model, allowing control either through automation or modulation, and making the data immediately usable inside Live’s native parameter system.

🧩 VOID Shared Memory is a real-time communication system designed to exchange data between Ableton Live / Max for Live and TouchDesigner, using ultra-light, low-latency shared memory.
Distributed as a research initiative, the project brings together a set of tools and proofs of concept designed and developed in-house by @julienbayle within Structure Void’s research and development work. It includes Max for Live devices, Max externals, TouchDesigner operators (CHOPs), as well as Ableton Live demo sets and TouchDesigner demo networks, conceived as experimental, robust and reusable technical building blocks.
