This is the final part from my “Ursie’s Saloon” audio-reactive project in TouchDesigner.

This effect uses ‘metaballs’ as an invisible force. They accelerate at on the downbeats and disrupt the particles as they pass through, creating something similar to fireworks. I’ve also mapped kick drum hits to trigger color changes, so you get both motion and color responding to different parts of the audio.
