TouchDesigner Tutorial- Becoming a Data

Inspired by Rosa Menkman’s exploration of image compression and digital distortion, I want to explore the topic about entering the compression world, becoming one of the data. The topic invites audiences to experience the transformation of digital information. Through interacting with camera, participants embody a piece of data and navigate through various realms of compression such as pixelation and dithering, block processing, and vectorization. The project reimagines compression not just as a technical process, but as a dynamic journey of reconstruction and evolution of information.
