The theme of the memorable 10th session is “Particle x Interaction” Kaoru, who is creating eye-catching visuals on Twitter and Instagram, will be our long-awaited instructor! If you keep looking at her works, you might guess which software the works were made with. Kaoru’s work reflects her own “personality” rather than the “personality” of the software, which is its greatest appeal. We hope you will try your hand at creating your unique particle expression in this workshop!

TDSWオンライン開催は今回でなんと10回目となります！記念すべき第10回のテーマは「Particle x Interaction」。
みんなおなじみ、だけど無限の表現の可能性があるパーティクルを使ったインタラクティブなビジュアル制作をやっていきます。TwitterやInstagramで、いつもはっと目に止まるようなビジュアルを生み出しているKaoruさんに念願の講師をしていただきます！
たくさん作品を見続けていると、ビジュアルがどのソフトウェアで作ったかがなんとなく推測できるようなことってありませんか？
Kaoruさんの作品はソフトウェアの「らしさ」ではなく、Kaoruさん自身の「らしさ」を反映されたものになっているのが最大の魅力です。
是非、本ワークショップで自分らしさを追求したParticle表現に挑戦してみてください！

You will create interactive animations that respond to mouse and devices (Azure Kinect and Leapmotion) using TouchDesigner particles.

TouchDesignerのパーティクルを使ったマウスやデバイス(Azure KinectやLeapmotion)に反応するインタラクティブなアニメーションを作成します。

■　講師 / Instructor
田中薫　Tanaka Kaoru

Under the name of VELVET NUMBER, she creates interactive systems and contents for facilities. Influenced by John Maeda, she started to learn Processing, and from there, she became interested in Arduino and sensor devices, and while experimenting, she came across TouchDesigner. she believes in making things as soon as she gets interested in them

VELVET NUMBER名義で施設等にある体験型のシステムやコンテンツの制作をしています。ジョン前田に影響を受けてProcessingを始め、そこからArduinoやセンサーデバイスなどにも興味が広がり色々試しているうちにTouchDesignerに出会い、現在は主にTouchDesignerで制作活動を行っています。何でも興味が出たら直ぐに作ってみる、を信条にしています。

■　事前準備
・A recent Windows computer with the latest official TouchDesigner installed.
・A 2-button mouse with a scroll wheel, or 3 button mouse.
・Please consult the System Requirements to make sure your computer is capable of running TouchDesigner.

■ Organizer
TDSW | Tokyo Developers Study Weekend is an organization that runs workshops/events aiming to share techniques and knowledge about digital creativity and networking among creators and manages a community with creative people. We have organized more than 70 events and had more than 4000 attendees in total since April 2018.
