Petal Blizzard—Reactive Emotion-Aware Biophilic Visuals (TouchDesigner-based Demo, Master’s Project)
The Petal Blizzard prototype presents a simulated scenario in which a participant first provides their own emotion keywords. They then encounter—not as a distant spectator but as an active participant—emotion-gradient-aware visual sequences inspired by natural forms: fluid dynamics, organic textures, and seasonal colour transitions. Gesture-tracking and audio-reactive modules respond in real time to their movement and the surrounding soundscape.
This video demonstrates the Petal Blizzard prototype for my Master’s exegesis. Full gesture-tracking interactivity requires in-person participation for real-time reaction.
This work integrates Gen AI (@AdobeFirefly ), custom TouchDesigner-based visualisation networking (@TouchDesignerOfficial ), and 3D modelling (C4D), moving from conceptual design to visual expression that reflects shifting emotional states.
