We’re fortunate in the TouchDesigner world to get new operators regularly. Two new ones that are rolling out in the experimental builds are extremely useful. The first is Sprinkle SOP which allows you to scatter a set amount of points across the surface of a geometry, very similar to Scatter SOP from Houdini. The JSON DAT allows folks to parse out dense JSON messages without using Python. This can be a fantastic tool for new TouchDesigner developers and even for advanced users who want a quick piece of data extracted.
