Interactive Instrument – Instancing to MIDI in TouchDesigner (Tutorial)

Hello Everyone! In this tutorial, I’ll show you a special project I’ve been working on for a couple of days. We’ll use the RenderPickCHOP to extract instancing data and convert it to MIDI, allowing you to click and play!
This project was inspired by elekktronaut’s video on playing drums with Kinect. (Their videos are great if you want to understand the workflow of making a project with Kinect.) I thought it would be fun to create something similar with TouchDesigner!
