Forest Meditation-TouchDesigner
The work begins with a video of the forest captured on a mobile phone, then reimagined through TouchDesigner’s Gaussian point cloud rendering, transforming the natural scene into a digital meditation space. The generation of the point cloud is not merely a visual reconstruction, but also a journey of the soul.
The camera slowly glides deeper into the forest, where dazzling light gradually emerges—like the process of meditation leading toward the core of the inner world. As music enters, energy radiates outward from the heart of the forest. Particles pulse to the rhythm of the sound waves, breathing with a sense of life. Music is not just a backdrop, but the driving force: it guides light and particles to expand within the space, propelling the viewer’s senses like a heartbeat.
When the camera returns, the once still particles begin to move, symbolizing the transformation and awakening of the soul after introspection. In this virtual forest, the audience experiences a form of “digital meditation”: a resonance where vision and sound intertwine, merging outer nature with inner spirit through the interplay of point clouds and music.
