Expansion – An Interarts Program for Solo Marimba and Touchdesigner

Expansion features works for solo marimba including: Kinetic Energy by Patricia Islas, Memento by Ivan Trevino, and Going Home by Dame Evelyn Glennie. The program was created by Texas A&M Music Performance Student Grace Burton in collaboration with two Texas A&M Visualization students Tatiana Mendez and Lane Parrish. Expansion showcases the “vast expanse of the universe” through sonic properties and eye-catching visuals that revolve around space, time, and movement.
