[Dismorphia] – Dark Breakbeat / Techno | AI Audio Reactive Visuals (Sora + Suno + TouchDesigner)

A digital nightmare generated by AI. Breakbeat, Techno, and visual distortion.

🌑 CONCEPT Behind a sweet smile, darkness hides. This video explores the thin line between good and evil, visualizing the inner fears that warp reality. It is a visual experience blurring the lines between the uncanny valley and psychological horror, deeply inspired by IDM sounds and the gritty glitch aesthetics of the 90s (Aphex Twin / Chris Cunningham vibe).

🔧 WORKFLOW & BEHIND THE SCENES This video is an experiment in Total Audio-Reactivity.

Generation: Base footage created with OpenAI Sora.

Processing: Manipulated in real-time using TouchDesigner.

Reactivity: Zero manual keyframes were used. I utilized AudioAnalyzer operators linked directly to lighting parameters and the XY positioning of the Displace TOP. The Breakbeat drums physically fracture the girl’s face, while the Techno synths distort her skin textures.

PERSONAL NOTE: This “project” was born out of pure personal enjoyment. There is no grand purpose here other than doing exactly what I love—and doing it “badly” at that! It’s just my clumsy way of unleashing an imagination heavily scarred by Chris Cunningham’s videos during the golden age of MTV (yes, I’m that old).

Obviously, I possess nowhere near his skills, nor do I dream of emulating him. I simply have an obsession with anything that reacts to audio. So here I am, dumping my “punk” trash onto the internet—punk in the sense that I make things without technical mastery, driven solely by an absurd, burning need to create. Maybe I’m just looking for a few other “sick” minds like mine, just to feel a little less alone in this madness.
