DATFEST is here🎉 ! A 2-day new media arts festival centered around TouchDesigner with workshops, talks, interactive installations, and AV performances across two immersive spaces at Chemistry Creative in East Williamsburg.

We’re especially excited to have Greg and Isabelle from Derivative (TouchDesigner) visiting from Toronto!

📅 April 17 – Free classic DATLAB meetup/opening night celebration
📅 April 18 – Full day of workshops + evening talks, and AV performances:
Featuring workshops from Simon Alexander-Adams (@polyhop), Dan Molnar (@function.str), Lyell Hintz (@dotsimulate), Pao Olea (@pao.olea), Dom Scott (@domscott.art) and Torin Blankensmith (@blankensmithing) — plus a special sneak preview of the new TD features from Greg Hermanovic (TouchDesigner co-founder).

What to Expect April 17:
7-8 PM: Welcome / social hour
8-9 PM: Community presentations/talks featuring Dan Molnar (@function.str)
9-10 PM: AV Performance

The opening night April 17th is free, but we’ve included an optional payment. This fee helps cover venue costs and also directly supports the event coordinators.
