hi, this is xtal. in this tutorial, i’ll be sharing a process that goes beyond the typical monochrome emboss effect by deeply utilizing a variety of nodes in touchdesigner to create a visually rich and refined color emboss composite. focusing on the emboss node, we’ll organize luminance information using monochrome, soften the edges with blur, fine-tune brightness and contrast with the level node, and harmonize multiple layers through the compositing stage. this approach allows us to move past simple filter effects and gain full control over the visual tone and atmosphere of the video. by combining both color and structural depth, i hope this workflow helps you bring more precision and expression to your creative projects.
