Cell Phone Sensors 05 – Everything’s a Button Workshop – OSC Activity
It takes sensors to create interactive environments, but worry not, those old cell phones all your friends have sitting in junk drawers will very likely do the job just fine. In fact, most modern cell phones are loaded with sensors and there are plenty of free apps to send that data to interactive software like TouchDesigner that are free to download and use.
This set of tutorials demonstrates using several mobile apps that send sensor values via OSC (Open Sound Control) data to TouchDesigner, an interactive design software with a free non-commercial version to learn on and use.
