Best plugin for realtime projection mapping with After Effects – and Touchdesigner

In this tutorial we look at the spout plugin for After effects and how to use it for realtime video mapping.
You will need: Content, a projector, a theatre, touchdesigner, after effects and a new computer.

Mapping and content creation are difficult to do together if You don’t have a server inbetween – or are they? Because there is a very simple solution that uses adobe after effects, touchdesigner and a small but great helper by Ben Kuper:
