Interactive instruments 02 – notes of the city

On a random Monday evening while I was gazing out at the rush hour traffic, I wondered what it would sound like if every vehicle played a note as it crossed a line in the road.

So using blob tracking data I made this network in Touchdesigner that deforms lines that are mapped to individual notes. So here it is, the soundtrack of Mumbai at 6pm!
