Audio Reactive Visual Scale – TouchDesigner & Ableton [RMIT Capstone Project]

This audio-reactive visual responds in real-time to keyboard input based on the B♭ minor scale. When a correct note is played, the orb glows green and the corresponding note lights up, indicating a successful press. Pressing a key outside the scale turns the orb red, with no notes illuminating. If both a correct and incorrect key are pressed simultaneously, the orb turns yellow, signaling an invalid input.

The project explores the connection between visuals and audio by turning scale practice into an interactive learning experience. By providing immediate visual feedback on correct and incorrect notes, it helps users understand and internalize the B♭ minor scale in a fun, intuitive way. This audio-visual system is part of my submission for my RMIT Capstone Project, demonstrating the integration of design, technology, and sound related visuals.
